Christmas in Palma has a very beautiful and special energy… Golden lights, sea breeze, and that cosy, magical feeling that makes you want to walk slowly and stay out just a little longer.
These are my Top 3 Christmas moments I always recommend (and secretly enjoy myself):

1.  Christmas vibes:

Christmas Lights Walk in the Old Town
If there is one thing you cannot miss, it’s an evening walk under the Christmas lights in the historic centre. I love starting in Plaza Cort, continuing towards El Born, wandering by the Cathedral, and ending in La Lonja. The façades, balconies and trees all dressed in light create the perfect festive atmosphere. It’s the kind of walk where you don’t even need a plan, just time.

Pueblo Español Christmas Market
For a more traditional Christmas feeling, I always recommend the Pueblo Español Christmas Market. It feels like stepping into a small Christmas village: stalls with local products, warm drinks, decorations and music. It’s a beautiful place to spend a few hours, especially if you enjoy discovering artisan pieces and little festive details.

Puerto Portals Christmas Market
If you prefer a chic seaside Christmas, then Puerto Portals is my go-to suggestion. Their Christmas market combines 40 charming wooden stalls with the elegant atmosphere of the marina: yachts, lights reflecting on the water, and a very stylish yet relaxed vibe. It’s perfect for an early evening stroll, a glass of wine, or a cosy bite to eat.

2. The Best Dinners
For a warm, cosy dinner with a local touch, I love sending guests to Little Jarana and Barbar. Both places have that Mediterranean soul: generous flavours, a friendly atmosphere and the feeling of being truly welcomed. They are ideal for a relaxed dinner with personality, laughter and shared plates on the table.

If you are looking for something a little more refined, my classics are our beautiful restaurant Noi, where Mediterranean cuisine meets elegance, the finest products and excellent service. And if you love wine, our list is considered one of the best on the island, please don’t hesitate to ask our Grand Sommelier Javier, for a personalised recommendation.

I also love to recommend the night menu at QUADRAT Restaurant & Garden, as well as Fera. Each one has its own character, but they all share the same attention to detail: beautiful spaces, elegant dishes and a calm, intimate ambience. They are perfect for a special festive evening when you want everything to feel just a bit extraordinary.

3. The Best Bars
To end the night softly, I always suggest an after-dinner drink in one of my favourite bars in Palma’s centre: Our Mirall Bar, our iconic cocktail bar, where you can find our special Christmas menu with limited-edition cocktails. Spectacular!

If you want to explore outside, I definitely recommend Bishop Wine Studio, Door 13, our neighbour with an authentic speakeasy feel, or Chapeau 1907 if you want a late night with good vibes and very good cocktails.

Whether you’re in the mood for a good glass of wine, a classic cocktail or simply a beautiful setting to talk and unwind, these places are where I would go myself. Intimate, stylish and full of charm.
